You may recall our post in July showing video of Addison’s New Trick. In case you missed it, here’s the video:
That was Addison at 11 weeks. At 5 months old, she has now decided that she is a one-baby show!
Some things just don’t get old.

Addison’s hand and eye coordination has been improving especially during the last week. She now reaches and tries to grab things. She is pretty vocal too…listen to those squeals!
I must admit that I have gotten a little behind on the blog. On August 1st, I returned to work which means that Addison began daycare. She is doing great. The teachers say that each day she is adjusting more and more. Luckily her room has four video cameras which allows me to check on her whenever I want. Let’s just say that I don’t mind conference calls anymore because I can watch her.
The anticipation of starting work and daycare caused me to get a little behind on posts. What can I say? I wanted to spend every possible moment with her. Here are some pictures from July including Addison’s first Cubs’ game, posing in her WVU cheerleading outfit, tummy time and holding onto her toy.
This keeps us laughing.
Here’s a video of Addison from Sunday (the day before her 9 week birthday). She is sitting in her favorite chair.
Addison had a great weekend in Philadelphia for her second cousin’s wedding. She was a perfect angel on both flights. And she enjoyed meeting my family on both sides. Billy and I did a horrible job at taking pictures though. We only took a few at the wedding, and the only picture of Addison in her dress is on my phone. I will post it tomorrow. Here’s some pics from the weekend.

Billy and I at the wedding. Can you believe we were all dressed up and didn’t get a family pic?!?! Huge Mommy Fail!

Addison met Gram (my dad’s mom), and we stayed at her house on Saturday night.

It was a whirlwind weekend, and Addison couldn’t have been any better. What a good little girl we have!
Addison turned 6 weeks yesterday. Here’s a little video of her hanging out and chatting with mommy.
It’s hard to believe that Addison turns one month old today. She is beginning to do so much like lift and turn her head, smile at our faces, and make cooing noises (especially at her little lamb friends). We can’t wait to see what the next month brings!
Addison found her first friends – the little lambs on her swing’s mobile. She “discovered” her friends over the weekend and is completely mesmerized with them every time she sits in the swing.
